DJ Format’s comments:
This homemade video features the ‘soundburger’ portable record player. Simon James(The Simonsound) suggested that we should record all the songs from my new 12″ so people could discover then on Youtube.
He offered to record them at home on his own Columbia portable record player which gave me the idea of going one better and showcasing some of my own portable record player collection to make each video slightly different and more eye-catching.
The music is the ‘B-boy version’ of ‘Mr DJ’ which instead of featuring Sureshot La Rock features more cuts & scratches and has different musical sections too.
