People still believe that Chali 2na & Akil where inside those costumes but it was some B-boys from L.A.
I wish i could credit them but i wasn’t there when the video was made so i never met them. It’s hard enough to pull of some of those moves without those costumes on..and i think Ruben said it was 80 degrees while they were filming!

“I was all set to do a performance video with Charli 2na and Akil from Jurrasic 5, but then was informed by PIAS that they were unavailable because they were on tour. I was stuck trying to figure out how to make a hip-hop performance video with no performers, so I realised that if I concealed their identity, then I could have anyone perform. So, I started thinking about what would be funny costumes to have people rapping in, and the mascot costumes were the best I could come up with.”
